Builtstraight is paid for by the builder.
If you are a subcontractor you will never be asked for a card, a subscription or a seat. You do not sign up for anything. The builder invites you to a stage. That is it.
What you are asked for.
One thing only: the photos and documents the builder listed on the stage. Nothing else, and nothing about your other work.

- The photos on the builder's shot list, one per shot, with the instruction and often a reference photo showing the angle.
- Certificates
- The certificates and documents the builder named, for example a concrete delivery ticket or a lintel schedule.
- Nothing else
- Nothing about your prices with anyone else, your other jobs or your other customers.
What you get out of it.
The scope, the proof and the price are in writing before you turn up. Nothing changes once the work is covered up.

- The photos you took, kept as evidence that the work was done properly.

- Sign-off on record, and a copy of the evidence pack for every approved stage that is yours to keep.

- No waiting on a site visit before the builder can approve and pay.
How it works for you.
The builder publishes a stage with your email address on it and you get a link. You sign in with a code sent to that email, and you are assigned to that stage. You see that stage and nothing else: not the builder's other plots, not the other trades, not what anybody else is being paid. The link opens the app you capture in, and the stage is waiting there once you accept.
